I was not always intuitive or sensitive or multi-dimensional in my thinking. Intellect and analysis were my main functional styles. In December of l988 a year into co-dependence recovery, I spent my birthday on a self-designed vision quest. At that time I received a vision of Kuan Yin and the charge to "help men and women worship (shape in worth) the Feminine aspect of the Divine." At that time I began a Womanspirit meditation group and expanded my exploration of self-healing, intuition and telepathy. I have still not found the edges or limits to what is humanly possible with intention and focus.
In l995 I had a second powerful experience while meditating. By this time I had spent many hours a day for many years in healing or meditative states. This time a shaft of light shot through my core, head to tailbone! I was given a vision of a world-wide web of multi-dimensional consciousness through 8 dimensions, creating on earth an uninterrupted flow of conscious Lovelight with the larger universe. It is still difficult to accept this as a valid experience intellectually, but I continue to benefit with good health and well-being when I act on my faith in this information.
Now, I would say I am a student of an experience-based human development model of conscious evolution. The individual grows into the subtle perceptions, such as intuition, compassion, imagination, clairvoyance, clairaudience, empathy, telepathy, wisdom and whole concept knowing beyond time and space.
The result is creative action from our Inner Light or True Self, such as healing, leadership, art in any form, including life lived as art.Traditional education and work experience include two years at Wells College, a small women's college in upstate New York (l966-68), and graduation from the University of Arizona, B.A. magna cum laude, in Anthropology with a minor in Religious Studies in l971. For fifteen years I held positions in business management, finance and sales, such as campus management for the University of Denver and Executive Director for the Colorado Commission on Women. From 1987 - 1994 I studied bioenergetic healing intensively with many teachers. In 1995 I received certification as a Clinical Hypnotherapist from the American Institute of Hypnotherapy.
As an educator, I have offered transformative workshops to hundreds on hands on healing, self-healing, emotional and spiritual healing, inner magic, angels, higher dimensional explorations and opening the heart to self-love. In September 2000, I helped promote Martin Gray's Texas Tour presentation in Austin "Places of Peace and Power" sacred sites slide lecture.
I have authored or edited several publications: "Angels of the Deep Croak a Chorus: Birthing Our Inner Light;" "Women's Spirituality: From Co-Dependency to Self-discovery," Colorado Women News (l990); "Survival and the Law for Colorado Women:" a handbook on legal rights and responsibilities (l979); and "Where are the Women? A Survey of Affirmative Action in Publicly Supported Institutions of Higher Education" (l976-78) (with Carder and Tippie).
My contributions have been recognized in Who's Who in the West, Who's Who of American Women, and Outstanding Young Women of America.
Honoring My Teachers My thanks to those from whom I have collected teachings in 1300+ hours of personal growth and vibrational healing courses: Mary Maestas, LPN, Ph.D., Janet Mentgen, M.S.N., R.N., co-founder of the American Holistic Nurses, training program in Healing Touch Therapy, Kay Gardner, Jean Houston, Ph.D., Sunday Martinez, Humbatz Men, Barbara Brennan and Roslyn Bruyere, Sylvia Gallo and others.
Iris Westwood introduced me to astrology, theosophy and the work of Marc Edmund Jones. In l994 Bonney Whittington, owner of Lightwater Essences, introduced me to flower and star essences and in l997 Li Bette Porter of Eugene, Oregon, a flower essence practitioner for 20 years, gave me additional training and assistance. Mr Isamu Taniguchi, through his beautiful gifts of the Oriental Garden at the Botanical Garden of Austin, taught me about labors of love on behalf of world peace.
I have also benefitted greatly from experiencing many one-on-one hours of a variety of body-mind therapies in my own journey, as well as direction and instruction from The Interplanetary Awareness Seminar, my friends and guides. And finally, thanks to my most precious and important teachers, the clients and students who have given me the honor of their trust to learn about inner light with them.
